Traders talk about trade setups and look for trade setups, but what do we do to set ourselves up for success each day?

What are the psychological setups unique to us that tap into our optimism, energy, and focused concentration?

How do we set ourselves up for frustration, even as we're looking for that next trade setup?

A trader may say: I want to get better. But how does he do that? How does one develop expert level skills?

One possible idea would be to follow a plan:

1. Observe
2. Qualify (define)
3. Quantify
4. Predict
5. Execute

.. could be applied to ourselves

Because without after-action study one doesn't know if 1 - 5 are constructive.
